George Loreto Guitar

A graduate of Berklee College of Music in 1998 with a Professional Music Degree.  George Loreto’s music career has taken him across the US and Europe.   George has over 20 years of performance experience as a musician as well as 14 years of Live sound engineering and production experience.   George has toured as musician, sound man, tour manager and all 3 at the same time in different tours over the years.  His musicianship has enabled him to play in multiple groups of different styles such as Reggae, Rock, Top 40, and Blues.   His main guitar focus has always been the blues styles of east coast, south west and west coast styles of greats like: T-Bone Walker, Pee wee Crayton, Albert Collins, W.C. Clark, Gatemouth Brown, Buddy Guy, as well as contemporaries such as: Kid Ramos, Junior Watson, Hollywood Fats, Duke Robillard, and Ronnie Earl.

George’s live sound experience started in Orange County at the Coach House where he learned the basics that helped him succeed as a live sound engineer.  His club work put him through school as he worked 6 nights a week in the local clubs in Boston to pay for college.  Upon return from Berklee School of music he worked for a major sound touring company Sound Image, which clients included: Jimmy Buffet, Doobie Brothers, Prince, and others.  Upon leaving the company George started his own modest sound company which owns and runs today.  George Loreto’s commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction have allowed him to perform 3-5 nights a week( in one of his four bands he currently plays with) teach guitar to aspiring musicians and run his sound company while maintaining a healthy all music based schedule.   George’s first hand knowledge base in all these areas makes his teaching skills high in depth and knowledge.
