Trumpet Lessons

Tim Hall is a freelance Trumpeter in Orange County California. He has been teaching trumpet lessons for the past 25 years in addition to his busy performing schedule. He started playing the trumpet at age 9 and has played the trumpet almost everyday since. Tim was lucky to be able to study the trumpet with many great trumpet instructors. His principal trumpet teacher was famed Hollywood Trumpeter Uan Rasey.

Tim maintains a large private music lesson studio which has many fine trumpet, drum, guitar, piano, bass and voice students. He enjoys teaching music lessons very much. Many of his students have performed with the All–Southern California Honor Bands, Pacific Symphony Youth Orchestra and Orange County Youth Symphony. He has had several of his music students receive college scholarships and pursue music as a career. In addition to teaching at The Music Stand, Tim is also on faculty at Chapman University Conservatory of Music and Irvine Valley College.

Tim is also in demand as a performer and has performed with LA Opera, Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra, Orange County Pacific Symphony, Opera Pacific, California Philharmonic, Long Beach Opera, Hollywood Bowl Orchestra, Pasadena Symphony, Pasadena Pops Orchestra, Pacific Symphony Brass Quintet, Eastern Sierra Symphony, L.A. Master Chorale, Long Beach Municipal Band, Orange County Philharmonic Society School Concerts, Disneyland Band and the Laguna Beach Pageant of the Masters Orchestra. You can also hear Tim playing in the pit orchestra for many shows at the Orange County Performing Arts Center. He has toured the United States and Europe with various groups and lived in Japan for five years while performing at the Huis Ten Bosch Resort. Tim lives in Mission Viejo with his wife and three, Trumpet playing, sons.
